Instructions
- Prepare the pudding by blending the bananas until smooth. Alternatively, you can mash them into a puree using a fork.
- Add bananas to a saucepan along with 1 1/2 cups of Silk® NextmilkTM, maple syrup, and turmeric. Stir.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1/2 cup of Silk® NextmilkTM with the cornstarch.
- Heat the saucepan over medium - high heat until it starts bubbling. Stir regularly.
- Give to cornstarch - Silk® NextmilkTM mixture a stir and pour it into the saucepan.
- Whisk and continue cooking until the mixture has thickened and coats the back of a spoon, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the plant based butter and vanilla extract.
- Let the mixture cool of f for 30 minutes then refrigerate to cool completely, at least 3 hours.
- Serve the pudding with a dollop of whipped Silk Dairy - Free Whipping Cream Alternative, crumbled vegan cookies, and banana slices. Enjoy!
